Century Project

Watch this video and learn about the history of St. Mary's Hospital and Regional Medical Center from 1896 to 2007. In 2007 St. Mary's began the Century Project,  a multi-year expansion and renovation project. The project was finished in 2010 and included a 12-story addition (434,000 square feet of new construction) and 75,000 square feet of renovation. A new emergency and trauma services department, 12 surgical suites, intensive care services, 12 labor and delivery rooms and 32 private postpartum rooms, neonatal intensive care unit, orthopedics unit, rooftop helicopter landing pad, private patient rooms, a new Saccomanno Education Center, and a new lobby were all part of the project.
