"Caring for TBI Patients: The Team Approach"

Objectives: 
  • Describe the roles of physical therapy, audiology, and neuropsychology in Concussion/TBI management  
  • Analyze the importance key function of each role in the team approach as it TBI management, including: vestibular and balance systems, hearing loss, sound sensitivity, tinnitus, auditory processing deficits (APD), neurological deficits 
  • Analyze tests and testing measures performed during evaluation of a TBI patient. 
  • Recommend appropriate treatment therapies and know when to refer  Perform/demonstrate a “quick screens” in your clinic practice
