  • Be familiar with the major historical milestones in organ donation and transplantation.
  • Explain the “Dead Donor Rule” and its importance in maintaining the public trust.
  • Understand the management differences between donors declared by neurologic criteria and those to be declared by circulatory criteria.
  • When is ancillary testing needed in the process of brain death testing?
