Hospitality house provides safe haven for patients’ families
July 19, 2011
Away from home and dealing with illness, it’s nice to have a clean, comfortable place to go at the end of the day. That’s exactly what St. Mary’s Rose Hill Hospitality House is all about.
Rose Hill House provides comfortable, safe lodging so family members can stay near their hospitalized loved one, says Jeanie Morris, manager of Volunteer Services and Rose Hill Hospitality House. “We’re a regional medical center, so many of our patients come from outside Mesa County. Rose Hill House gives their families a pleasant place to stay within walking distance to
“We recently remodeled the kitchen area,” Morris says. “Now our guests have more space to make and eat family meals. We’re planning an open house so everyone can see the new space and to recognize our donors and volunteers for their generosity. Without them, Rose Hill House wouldn’t exist.”
Rose Hill House can accommodate approximately 50 guests in single, double and family rooms, all with private bathrooms. Call 243-7968 for room availability.
