Community Health Needs Assessment
As our mission states, “We reveal and foster God’s healing love by improving the health of the people and the communities we serve” and in order to do this we have regularly participated in Community Health Needs Assessment surveys to identify the ongoing and changing needs of the community. In 2015 the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) was conducted by the Mesa County Health Department and included the collaborative effort of many organizations and providers in our community, including St. Mary’s Hospital & Medical Center. We continuously assess the needs of the community through close working relationships and partnerships with service agencies in the community, and by evaluating state and county health statistics. CHNA’s were also conducted in 1998, 2005, 2009, 2012, 2015.
